Presentation Title
No Screws, No Cement: Bicon Implants for Vertical Dimension Loss in TMJ-Related Occlusal Rehabilitation
Abstract
Vertical dimension loss is a common challenge in patients with TMJ dysfunction and occlusal instability, often complicated by conventional screw- and cement-retained implant systems. This lecture introduces the Bicon implant system—featuring a screw-less, cement-free locking taper design—as a contemporary solution for restoring vertical dimension in TMD-related cases. The presentation explores the clinical rationale for selecting Bicon short implants as a first-line option, along with practical protocols for achieving long-term occlusal stability and joint health.
