Jerusalem Congress Research Forum
Research Submission Guidelines and Evaluation Criteria
The Jerusalem Congress Research Forum welcomes submissions from researchers across Palestine, the Arab world, and the international scientific community. The forum aims to promote scientific excellence, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration through clear submission guidelines and a broad scientific scope that encourages high-quality research participation.
Scientific Scope
The Scientific Committee welcomes original research, systematic reviews, and clinical studies in the following areas:
- Orofacial Pain (OFP)
- Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD)
- Sleep-Disordered Breathing (SDB) and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)
- Mandibular Advancement Devices (MADs)
- Sleep and Awake Bruxism
- Chronic Mouth Breathing and Airway Disorders
- Craniofacial Growth and Airway Development
- Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence in Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine
- Interdisciplinary Diagnosis and Treatment Approaches
General Submission Requirements
- Eligible submissions include original research that is unpublished, accepted for publication, or published in a high-quality, peer-reviewed journal within the past two years.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.
- Studies involving human participants must have appropriate ethical approval, where applicable.
- Authors must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest. If no conflicts exist, the following statement should be included: “The authors declare no conflicts of interest.”
- Abstracts should be structured under the following headings:
- Background
- Objectives
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- Accepted abstracts will be presented as Oral Presentations or Poster/E-Poster Presentations, as determined by the Scientific Committee.
Evaluation Criteria
Abstracts will be evaluated independently by the Scientific Committee based on the following criteria:
- Scientific and methodological quality
- Originality and innovation
- Clinical relevance
- Clarity of presentation
- Overall contribution to the field
Jerusalem Research Prize
To recognize outstanding scientific achievement and encourage excellence in research, the Jerusalem Research Prize will be awarded to the three highest-ranked research presentations, as selected by the Scientific Committee.
🥇 First Prize: USD $1,000 and a Certificate of Excellence
🥈 Second Prize: USD $500 and a Certificate of Excellence
🥉 Third Prize: USD $300 and a Certificate of Excellence
The Jerusalem Research Prize reflects the Congress’s commitment to fostering high-quality research, promoting scientific innovation, and supporting emerging investigators in Orofacial Pain, Temporomandibular Disorders, Sleep-Disordered Breathing, and Dental Sleep Medicine.

Graduation Project Submission Requirements
The Scientific Committee invites undergraduate students to submit their graduation projects for competition during the 6th International Congress & Research Forum in Orofacial Pain & Sleep-Disordered Breathing.
To be eligible for the Graduation Project Competition and compete for one of the three awards, submissions must meet the following requirements:
* The project must be original and completed by undergraduate students.
* The project topic must fall within one of the scientific themes of the conference.
* The project must be submitted in English.
* Accepted projects may be presented as an oral presentation (and may also poster or e-poster), as determined by the Scientific Committee.
* All submissions will be evaluated by an independent review panel based on the following criteria:
* Scientific quality
* Originality and innovation
* Clinical relevance
* Methodological rigor
* Quality of presentation
