Abstract
The multifactorial etiology of temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) requires comprehensive diagnostic procedures as well as interdisciplinary treatment. This is indispensable—particularly prior to any occlusal rehabilitation—for prophylactic, therapeutic, prognostic, and forensic reasons.
